Merzouga is a small village in southeastern Morocco, about 35 kilometers southeast of Rissani, about 45 kilometers from Erfoud, and about 50 kilometers from the Algerian border. 1 Day tour starts 9am and finish 4pm. We’ll pick you up in Merzouga village in a 4x4. We’ll explore the villages around Erg Chebbi, starting with Hassilabied where you’ll see the canal irrigation system that allows the locals to grow a lush garden of peach trees and date palms in the middle of the desert. We’ll also see Dayet Srji lake which forms in the spring time during wet years, in which case it attracts flamingoes and other wildlife and is very popular with bird-watchers. We explore the unforgettable landscapes, we also meet local Nomad families living in desert and find secret special spots in the desert for beautiful pictures. Leaving on an 4×4 on a journey through Morocco in Day excursion is going to delight you for sure. This 1 day 4×4 desert tour in Erg Chebbi dunes in an all-around tour of the dunes themselves.
