In early morning we start private tour from tangier and we drive through the groves of the RIF mountains and by the city Ouazzan famous with the typical Moroccan coat “JELLABA”. Later in the afternoon you will attend the sunset in the outdoors of the blue city CHEFCHAOUEN the icon of the RIF. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Weak up early, breakfast and a last short walk in the narrow streets of the medina , before you leave in direction of the glorious city of the 8th century Fes, you are invited to a short hike for one hour in the ruins of Volubilis it is one of the old cities of that was influenced by the existence of the Romans in north of AFRICA in all forms of life , a city that provided a lot of agricultural products to Rome; olive oil, olives, vegetables, wheat, and the famous Ceder wood, later on you are driving ahead to visit the 17th century capital Meknes, with its beautiful gate BAB MANSOUR, the mausoleum of moulay ISMAIL the founder, the granaries, and the reservoir of water SEOUANI; it is recommended to go on a short walk in its peaceful medina. We continue to Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Tonight we stay in local and comfortable hotel / riad with tasty Moroccan dinner.
At the early morning weak up to see the sun rise on the high pick of the sand close to your tents, and breakfast, later you leave with your guide for a hike through the beautiful snaky sand dunes, it will take you enough time to get out the dry river bed to the east of the ERG of sand, lunch a typical nomadic and a relaxing rest, by the late afternoon you will be warmly welcomed in one of the tents of nomads around the dunes have a cup of tea and learn more about their daily life. After breakfast journey to Marrakech via the kasbahs Taouirt and Ait Ben Haddou. Tucked away in the High Atlas Mountains, Ait Ben Haddou is one of the most spectacular forts in the south of Morocco, used as a back scenario for many films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, The Gladiato, and many other movies . Continue to Marrakech, via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) which offers dramatic panoramic views in the heart of the Atlas Mountain chain. Overnight in Marrakech.
The entire day is devoted to exploring the famous city of Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial city which has for centuries been an important stop for traders and travellers. Your tour will include the famous Jardin Majoralle, the Bahia Palace and the Saadian tombs. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, with its 66 metre high minaret dominating the centre of Marrakech. In the afternoon visit Djemaa El Fna Square, the centre square of the medina which comes alive by sunset and through night with local storytellers, musicians, entertainers, snake charmers and the scent of delicious food being grilled over hot coals. Overnight in the same hotel.
Casablanca culture tour continues after breakfast, departure to Essaouira. Upon arrival, lunch fish. In the afternoon, city tour and Rull in the medina of Essaouira, a former Portuguese fort known for its handicrafts, silver jewellery and inlaid wood of Thuja. In the evening we return back to Marrakech. That’s the end of our Casablanca culture tour.
